The Allied Masonic Degrees (AMD) is an invitation-only Masonic body that brings together brethren who share a passion for Masonic education, historical research, and the study of the Craft's appendant degrees.

I was honored to be invited into Herman Lawrence Council No. 82 in the fall of 2025. While the ritual and degrees are an important part of the organization, what drew me most was the opportunity to continue researching, writing, and presenting Masonic history alongside brethren who value scholarship and lifelong learning.

The Allied Masonic Degrees has become another place where I can pursue the kind of work that increasingly defines my Masonic journey—not simply learning history, but discovering connections, sharing research, and helping others see the stories that bind our fraternity together.
